How Guide Fees Are Caluculated
1. Number of Guests
Elementary school students and older are counted as guests.
2. Guide Fees
Guide fees are based on the number of guests:
- 1–5 guests: ¥4,000 per hour
- 6–15 guests: ¥6,000 per hour
- For each additional group of up to 15 guests: One additional guide is required, with an additional fee of ¥6,000 per hour.
3. Additional Time
For every additional 30 minutes:
- 1–5 guests: +¥2,000
- 6–15 guests: +¥3,000
- Each additional guide: +¥3,000
Example 1
A family of four—2 adults, 1 junior high school student, and 1 elementary school student—takes a 1.5-hour (90-minute) tour.
1 guide / Guide fee: ¥6,000
Example 2
A group of 22 people—20 elementary school students and 2 accompanying adults—takes a 1-hour (60-minute) tour.
2 guides / Guide fee: ¥12,000
4. Same-Day Cancellation
For cancellations made on the day of the tour, 100% of the guide fee will be charged.
Important Information
Travel Insurance
We recommend that guests purchase appropriate travel insurance or domestic leisure insurance in advance, if necessary, to cover unexpected accidents or emergencies.
Insurance
Our guide service does not include insurance coverage for guests in the event of injury or illness during the tour, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings.
Safety and Responsibility
We take every reasonable precaution to ensure your safety during the tour. However, we cannot be held responsible for accidents or injuries caused by circumstances beyond our control, or for problems resulting from a guest’s own negligence.
